Information We May Process
Guest gameplay. When you play as a guest we may process an installation identifier, a randomly generated player token, your selected country, puzzle assignments, submitted guesses and results, win/loss outcome, attempts, game duration, hint usage, scores and streaks.
Accounts. If you create or sign in to an account, we may additionally process an account identifier, display name, email address where supplied by your sign-in provider, your Apple or Google identity identifier, profile information, your selected country, and gameplay history linked to that account.
Technical information. Basic application and server logs, app version, platform, and error or security-related information where applicable.
WittyWorder does not collect precise device location. Country leaderboards are based on a country you select, not GPS.
How We Use This Information
We use the information above to run the game, prevent repeated puzzles, sync your progress, back up and restore accounts, calculate statistics and leaderboards, deliver hints, prevent abuse and protect security, check app compatibility and updates, and improve the product over time.
Advertising
WittyWorder intends to offer optional rewarded advertising in exchange for extra hints. Watching a rewarded ad is always optional and never required to play. Where a third-party advertising provider is enabled, that provider's own privacy policy will govern the ad experience it delivers. Advertising behaviour may be limited or restricted based on applicable age or family requirements in your region.
Younger Users
WittyWorder is intended for a broad, general audience and is not designed primarily as a children's social product. Guest gameplay does not require an email or account. The app has no direct messaging, no chat, and no public user-generated content, and does not use precise location. Account creation is always optional. We aim to comply with applicable children's and family privacy requirements in the regions where WittyWorder is offered to younger users.
Third Parties
We may share limited information with Apple Sign In and Google Sign In for account authentication, hosting and infrastructure providers that run our servers, the app stores that distribute WittyWorder, and—once enabled—a rewarded advertising provider.
Data Retention
Gameplay and account records may be retained for as long as your account or guest profile exists. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personally identifying account information; anonymized gameplay and statistical records may be retained where necessary to preserve game and leaderboard integrity.
Deleting Your Account
You can request account deletion from inside the app (Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account) or through our web deletion page.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
